SABO-Maschinenfabrik GmbH and Stella Engineering GmbH announce far-reaching cooperation

Following the change in shareholders, there is more news from the Oberberg region. SABO-Maschinenfabrik GmbH from Gummersbach and the high grass experts at Stella Engineering GmbH from Lindlar have announced their cooperation.

SABO. A premium brand with tradition.

SABO-Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Gummersbach, is one of the leading brands for high-quality lawn mowers and garden care products for private and commercial customers in Europe. The company has been producing at the Hunstig site in Gummersbach, Germany, since 1932.

As part of the change of ownership in September 2023, the new managing partner Lars Daniel, who has been with SABO for over 20 years, has already announced that SABO will be making a big splash in the future. The first step has now been taken, with SABO announcing a strategic collaboration in the area of development and sales with the high grass experts at Stella Engineering GmbH.

Stella Engineering. Quality manufacturer for innovative power tools.

Alfonso Stella, the owner of Stella Engineering, is a former development manager at SABOMaschinenfabrik GmbH and was responsible for the development of professional large-area mowers in this role in the 1980s and early 1990s. Stella Engineering GmbH has been developing innovative power tools in the high grass sector since 1995 and will use its expertise to help re-establish the SABO brand in the area of municipal yards and other commercial users.
